My journey has been one guided purely by the universe. Each class is an opportunity to connect and share beautiful energy with others. I draw inspiration from this energy, weaving it through my flows, which often incorporates modern ideas and music that resonate with the spirit of the moment. While I embrace innovation and creativity, I also hold a deep respect for the traditions of yoga. This balance between old and new not only enriches my practice but also enhances the experience for everyone in our community. Together, we explore the depths of yoga while celebrating the vibrant rhythms of modern life, creating a space where tradition and innovation coexist harmoniously.

I’m a mother of two boys and a grandmother to an amazing little soul who continuously surprises me, and I have two crazy bulldogs who crack me up constantly. I’m a Colorado native and grew up in Denver (3rd generation). I am a widow, who lovingly honors the spirit of my late husband by naming studio after him.

60 minute Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic practice featuring a specific sequence of poses, breath control, and concentration. Founded by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, it incorporates eight limbs from the Yoga Sutras to promote well-being. The six series progress in difficulty, starting with the detoxifying Primary Series, Yoga Chikitsa, which aligns the body. Practitioners move through sun salutations, standing poses, and seated postures in sync with their breath, known as "vinyasa."

A hallmark of Ashtanga is the ujjayi breath, creating a calming sound that energizes and enhances focus. Bandhas, or energy locks, manage internal energy and improve stability. Ashtanga offers numerous benefits, including increased strength, better concentration, and inner peace. It provides a structured routine while allowing individual pacing. Beginners are welcome.
